Mission

Essential Wellness Therapeutic Program, LLC strives to address criminal justice reform (specifically Police Reform) by offering accessible and effective mental health, substance abuse services, physical wellness and Community Engagement Training to Law Enforcement Officers (LEO's) and civilians in Baltimore City and the surrounding counties. The goal is to acknowledge the stigma surrounding mental health and reduce police misconduct in law enforcement, while still supporting law enforcement officers and civilians in their mental health journey. Every individual deserves quality mental health care. By implementing a combined therapy program for officers and civilians, Essential Wellness is dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where participants can learn from each other, build resilience, and work together to overcome shared challenges. Therefore, Essential Wellness is committed to providing the necessary resources to support the well-being of every LEO and civilians in order to provide innovative public safety practices that promote civil rights and race-related equality.

Purpose

To bridge the gap between the community and Law Enforcement Agencies by providing educational solutions through holistic services that improve the mental health and well-being of Law Enforcement Agencies and the community, in order to provide a trusting relationship within the community.

Vision

The program’s vision aims to assist the Maryland legislation along with Law Enforcement Entities with their new age approach of implementing social justice reform within the State of Maryland.
