Essential Wellness Therapeutic Program, LLC

Who We Service

Services rendered are customized for past, present and future Law Enforcement Officers and civilians.
With a keen eye on the 2016 Consent Decree aimed at upholding constitutional policing, our organization is deeply committed to catalyzing criminal justice reform. We achieve this by offering educational interventions through therapy, extending our reach to Law Enforcement Agencies in Baltimore City and neighboring counties throughout Maryland. We firmly believe that nurturing empathy and comprehension between communities and Law Enforcement Agencies is pivotal in nurturing trust and fostering positive rapport.
Our comprehensive program is meticulously crafted to tackle a broad spectrum of issues, particularly the mental health challenges faced by Law Enforcement Officers and the community. Such challenges often correlate with heightened incidents of police misconduct, suicide, PTSD, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and domestic violence. Through a holistic approach to mental health and wellness, we empower Law Enforcement Officers and civilians to navigate their professional hurdles with resilience and compassion to bridge the gap between both parties.
Our array of services encompasses individual and group therapy sessions, meditation practices, and community engagement training. Acknowledging the pivotal role of addressing the mental health needs of Law Enforcement Officers in ensuring community safety and well-being, we stand unwavering in our commitment. By fostering a nurturing and safe environment for healing, we endeavor to promote resilience and well-being across our entire community.
At Essential Wellness Therapeutic Program, LLC, our mission is to propel positive transformations within the criminal justice system and beyond.

How We Differ

Essential Wellness Therapeutic Program, LLC differentiates itself from other providers by offering tailored services for law enforcement officers and civilians. In addition, we DIFFER from the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), because we will offer our services to all Law Enforcement Agencies at the start of the training academy for any recruit throughout the course of their career, while still offering our services to any pre-existing officer, retirees, and any past Law Enforcement Officers.

Many civilians may experience intersecting forms of oppression or discrimination based on factors such as race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or socioeconomic status. Essential Wellness is equipped to recognize and address the ways in which these intersecting identities shape clients' experiences and mental health needs.
